Craps' Ponzer's Plan

Before going into the method, I suggest that you play at a casino which offers double odds. This means you can make an odds bet, a free odds bet in which the casino has no advantage, and double the size of your line bet. Thus, if you bet $15 on the line, or on a come bet, you can take odds of $30. This reduces the house advantage to a minimal 0.6%.

1. Bet 3 units on the line.

2. After the point is established, put 6 units behind the line as a free, full-odds bet.

3. Make two consecutive come bets, only two, betting the same 3 units and taking 6 units in free odds for each come point established.

4. If the first come bet wins before making the second come bet, continue to make come bets, but never have more than two come bets out.

5. If any come bet wins and is paid off, make another come bet, so that there are always two come bets out, but never more than two.

6. To be more aggressive, and this is optional, when two come bets are out, bet 6 units on the 6 or 8 if it hasn't been either a point or come bet. We're giving the house 1.52%, but we're covering all the middle numbers this way.

7. If a come bet wins, we simply take it off the board. If the winning come bet was a 6 or 8, leave six units on the 6 or 8, just taking your 7 units profit.

This method allows us to take advantage of a hot hand, with numbers repeating. It gives the house only the minimum advantage, except for 1.52% on the 6 and 8. But we're never giving the house more than that, never giving it 4% or 4.76% or 6.67%.

By betting this way, we'll be getting a lot of payoffs. Betting come bets guarantees good payoffs when the numbers repeat. We'll be getting (on a $15 come bet and $30 odds) $51 for a 6 or 8, $60 for a 5 or 9 and $75 for a 4 or 10.

If you're playing in a casino which doesn't give double odds, you continue to bet three units, because the house will then allow you to bet 4 units behind the line on come bets on the 5 and 9, and 5 units on the 6 and 8. So, we do the following:

1. Bet 3 units on the pass line. If a 4 or 10 is the point, bet 3 units behind the line (all that's allowed). If a 5 or 9 is the point, bet 4 units behind the line, and if a 6 or 8 is the point, bet 5 units behind as a free-odds bet.

2. Then make two come bets, betting 3 units and taking the maximum free odds.

3. If a come bet wins before the second come bet is on a different number, keep the come bet going. To explain this: if the first come bet is a 6, and a 6 repeats while you have another come bet out, you'll be paid off on the 6, and the come bet will still be working.

After you've placed two different number come bets, stop betting and wait for a payoff. When you get a payoff, and the come bet is returned, make another come bet, but never have more than two out at any one time.

For the aggressive player, cover with 6 units the 6 and 8 if they're not covered by a point or come bet. If a come bet is now made, take off the come bet, but if it was on a 6 or 8, leave 6 units on the 6 or 8. It gives the house the smallest possible advantage, it allows you to hold on to your bankroll, and it gives you the opportunity to take advantage of hot rolls.
